As a Real Estate Tax Manager in our Tax function, you will apply your knowledge across a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes for complex issues while collaborating with colleagues to deliver client value.
Your Key Responsibilities
Handle a diverse array of tax consulting and compliance projects for real estate clients.
Provide up-to-date tax advice and work within a collaborative culture that emphasizes information sharing.
Supervise a motivated team and ensure they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
CPA required, or be a member of a state bar. CPA required for advancement.
A minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
Technical knowledge in real estate tax, including partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring.
Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
Strong technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects and build client relationships within the real estate, hospitality and construction industries.
Strong influencing skills and willingness to challenge existing processes.
Willingness to travel as needed; ability to thrive in a balanced hybrid environment.

What We Offer You
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranges: $116,200 to $212,900 generally; $139,400 to $242,000 for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento). Salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. Total Rewards includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options.
Hybrid work model: most client-facing roles are expected to work in person 40-60% of the time over a project or year.
