Overview
Tax Team Lead (Seasonal) – Remote | Full Time | $36/hour + incentives/bonus potential | 401K + Match. 100% Remote work (U.S.)
Work from late November 2025 through April 30, 2026, averaging 25 - 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Provide strong and effective leadership via video, phone, and chat, and motivate your team to achieve program goals.
Monitor and support the JDA TSG Tax Support Slack Channel, provide accurate tax information and resources, and respond timely to all requests for assistance.
Identify and address issues within leadership channels, customer-facing issues, and customer escalations, ensuring resolution in a friendly and timely manner.
Conduct call monitoring, listening for opportunities to provide support.
Execute customer callbacks as requested.
Carefully document all customer interactions to assist in coaching and escalations.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in a remote, supervisory role, leading teams of 5 or more tax professionals.
2+ years of professional experience preparing and filing individual (1040) returns using professional tax preparation software in a professional/retail setting.
Strong technical skills and ability to navigate computer systems and software including professional tax software, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel), Slack, Timekeeping solutions, etc.
A dedicated workspace with a hard-wired Ethernet connection and personal computer for administrative responsibilities. (No Satellite or Wi-Fi providers.)
What We Provide
Flexibility with morning through evening hours; shifts include mornings, middays, and evenings, 7 days per week.
Earn $36 per hour (W2), plus benefits including 401K with a match, perks, and other incentives.
Work from late November through the end of April 2026, averaging 25 - 40 hours a week. Additional/Overtime hours may be available.
