$85,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Responsibilities
25% - Driving Execution: Drive the execution of the Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS), Pick Ticket, and Lockup programs. Review Front End Accuracy standards including Accuracy/Theft and Fraud initiatives and GET initiatives. Promote a safety culture and ensure post orders are followed by 3rd Party Guards. Partner with DHRM and DM on de-escalation of serious incidents and threats of violence. Teach, coach, and train store leadership and associates on theft/fraud, operational shrink and shrink mitigation initiatives. Build relationships with Government Relations and Law Enforcement for localized support. Ensure safety of parking lots and implement safety strategies and processes. 50% - Internal and External Theft and Fraud: Enter internal cases timely into the case management system in accordance with AP Policy; review activity cans, alerts, and physical security. Identify key theft trends by class and SKU and develop solutions. Conduct interviews for internal theft cases. Review, approve, or reject external cases submitted by AP Specialists. Partner with local law enforcement to strengthen THD's brand. Regularly review business practices, exception-based reporting, theft portal, and AP Performance Hub. Monitor shrink indicators and drive initiatives to reduce shrink across the district. 25% - People: Make hiring decisions and take disciplinary action as needed. Staff and schedule AP associates to meet business needs based on theft trends. Coach and develop AP staff to ensure theft mitigation processes, develop leads, document known thefts and cases, and address opportunities. Conduct performance reviews and participate in district talent reviews. Coach on proper safety behaviors and environmental/regulatory processes including Handling Hazardous Materials (HHM) and the Store Readiness Checklist (SRC). Direct Manager/Direct Reports
This position typically reports to the Regional Asset Protection Manager This position has 5-8 direct reports Travel Requirements
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time. Physical Requirements
Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds). Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older Must be legally permitted to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint) Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to negotiate, handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances with both internal and external customers Excellent written and verbal communication skills Licensure/certification as required by location Minimum Education
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field related to the job. Preferred Education
