Manager Hospital Finance role at Texas Health Resources. Location: Texas Health Heart & Vascular Hospital, Arlington, TX. Core hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Job Duties
Develops and implements plans to meet regulatory and compliance standards, including KPI benchmarks and applicable policies, procedures and processes. Communicates plans and manages change effectively regarding department issues. Provides and promotes customer service (Patient, Employee and Physician Satisfaction). Assesses management and staff education. Assesses patient safety needs and maintains a safe work environment and processes. Manages staff in the analytical process by assigning work and reviewing results. Develops annual capital and operational budget; monitors compliance of the same. Considers clinical, quality and operational outcomes and financial implications when making recommendations for changes in practices/operations. Evaluates use of newly developed technology or products for cost effectiveness. Proactively participates in the entity revenue cycle. Develops and implements strategy to create a positive Employee Relations environment; supports recruiting, orienting and retaining competent staff; mentors staff growth. Supports development of THR and entity strategies; participates in strategic planning; develops department strategies. Plans and implements strategies for performance improvement to affect Key Quality Outcomes; leads quality initiatives; collaborates with other departments on initiatives; reports activities and trends to leadership; promotes involvement in community activities. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred). 5 years Healthcare, budget process and planning experience and 2 years progressive leadership experience required. CPA or CHFP certification preferred upon hire. Skills: Creative and strategic thinker; high ethical standards; strong financial analysis and management skills; ability to relate to people at all levels; effective educator; budget planning and financial analysis; critical thinking.
