The Payload and Ground Systems division is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Software Integration & Test to join our team supporting our DARC program based in Eglin AFB, FL. Primary responsibilities include system integration, test, and early-use of high-precision tracking radar systems and associated electronic disciplines. This role will be on-site daily supporting the customer and early-use activities while interfacing and working closely with a team in an OCONUS location. Job Duties Support early use operations on the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) radar system. Perform software testing on the DARC radar system. Prepare test plans, procedures, and reports. Ensure effective communication between assigned engineers and all other participants in the integration and testing process. Support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Support early use training on DARC radar system. Assist team in development of innovative Test Automation solutions. Participate in, prepare, and execute comprehensive system/element level test plans and procedures. Support system/element level test planning and test readiness reviews. Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system. Review system engineering documentation to ensure test plans and methodologies meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of hands-on missile defense, space tracking, and/or satellite operations experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Active Top Secret clearance required at time of application with SCI eligibility. Experience in the development of software requirement verification procedures, Python, and MATLAB. Experience conducting formal requirement verification test procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience with hands-on missile defense, space tracking, and/or satellite operations. Experience working as part of an Integration and Test team across multiple engineering disciplines. Experience as a member of a team integrating large, complex systems comprised of diverse HW and SW elements. Ability to support Integration and Test/Checkout (IATC) of Hardware and Software configuration items. Ability to document and record integration activities, including plans, procedures, results, and deficiencies. International integration and/or test experience. Software development integration and test methodologies. Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies. CompTIA Security+ Certification. SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner). Experience with large ground data processing systems integration. Experience with radar processing algorithms or software integration.
