Master Data Management/Governance – Senior Manager role at EY. Location: Anywhere in Country. EY is looking for a senior professional to define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation for clients, including design of master data management (MDM) solutions and leadership of delivery efforts. Role emphasizes guiding clients through adoption and implementation of advanced technologies, maturing data management capabilities, and conveying information strategies aligned with business objectives. This is a high-growth, high-visibility position with opportunities to shape digital and data strategies. Your Key Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis. Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements. Define and execute analytics and data governance strategy for clients, aligning with objectives and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks, including policies, stewardship models, roles, and accountability. Oversee Master Data Management, metadata management, and data cataloging to ensure consistency, discoverability, and trust. Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in collaboration with Legal, Security, and Risk teams. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and data stewards. Design scalable, secure data architectures to support BI and advanced analytics. Oversee cloud-based data platforms and technologies (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, Hadoop) for ingestion, storage, and processing. Drive data pipelines and analytical models to solve business problems and generate insights. Apply advanced analytics and machine learning to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Translate business initiatives into prioritized use cases with measurable ROI and manage delivery across domains. Develop data literacy programs and change management to embed a data-driven culture. Communicate analytical findings through dashboards and visualizations for business and technical audiences. Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders across operations, IT, engineering, and leadership. Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 12 years of experience with Master Data Management tools including SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM. Experience leading delivery teams in data governance, data management, and related system implementations. Knowledge of industry trends and ability to articulate them to customers. Cloud knowledge (AWS and Azure) and experience with data governance and enterprise strategy. Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to drive business outcomes and manage stakeholder expectations. Experience with data privacy regulations and data quality frameworks; proficiency in data governance principles. Experience with MD M, metadata, lineage tracking, and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation). Hands-on experience with cloud and data engineering tools including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and data orchestration platforms. Proven ability to lead large-scale digital transformation engagements and manage delivery risk. Strong technical and business communication skills and a passion for mentoring teams. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or related field; prior consulting experience required. ERP implementation experience, including SAP MDG component. 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data governance, or data strategy; preferably in oil & gas. Strong data governance principles, enterprise IT architecture understanding, and experience with data quality, stewardship, compliance, and policy creation. Experience with MDM, metadata, lineage, and data catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation). Experience designing scalable data architectures and proficiency with SQL, Python, R, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), and data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure). Ability to lead large-scale projects, manage delivery risk, and build client relationships; willingness to travel internationally. Strong stakeholder management and mentoring abilities. Desirable/Ideally You’ll Have

Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring; strong analytical skills for data-driven decisions. Knowledge of data mesh concepts and decentralized data ownership; certifications in Azure Data Engineer, Snowflake, Databricks, or related platforms. Experience with Data Office Organization and IT Architecture; digital fluency and hybrid collaboration skills. Emotional agility to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics. What We Look For
