Senior Business Consultant, Business Process Engineering – Medica. Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders, project teams, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization.
Apply Lean Six Sigma approaches to analyze, optimize, and design end-to-end business processes and underlying systems.
Lead transitions to implementation to ensure changes stick, using project management and organizational change management (OCM) skills.
Facilitate Kaizen events and Workshops to quickly solve complex business problems and design optimized processes to enhance member experience and meet commitments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, plus 5+ years of related work experience in continuous improvement, BPM, health plan operations, etc.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required
Mastery of Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools (e.g., Kaizen events, A3, Kanban, 5 Whys, FMEA, Control Plans)
Proven leadership ability across large cross-functional teams
Continuous improvement and implementation experience
Health Plan/Payer and/or Healthcare operations experience
Required License/Certification
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required
PMI-PMP certification preferred
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on change management experience preferred
Functional understanding of Agile methodology preferred
Skills And Abilities
Client-focused program, project, and process management with cross-functional workflow optimization
Ability to formulate content and present clearly internally and externally
Experience facilitating or coaching Kaizen events
Experience building and leading cross-functional teams from conception through implementation
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Visio, Smartsheet, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
This position is an office role and requires onsite work at the Minnetonka, MN office, on average at least 3 days per week.
Compensation and Benefits The full salary grade for this position is $87,100 - $149,300. The typical hiring salary range is $87,100 - $130,620. Final placement depends on factors such as education, experience, certifications, scope, internal equity, and market data. In addition to base salary, incentive plan compensation may be offered. Medica provides a comprehensive total rewards package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services, and other benefits. Compensation information is subject to change at any time.
