As an Manager, Accounting - Accounts Payable you will provide oversight and management of the Procure-to-Pay team including the reporting and filing requirements of this process. You will help ensure an accurate and timely quarter-end close, including the preparation and/or review of reconciliations and journal entries, and you will support timely payment of vendors and employees, accurate coding of expenses, and preparation of internal financial reports. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
Supervise activities, mentor direct reports, and provide technical guidance to the Procure-to-Pay team Lead in answering inquiries, training, troubleshooting, and researching system issues Drive process improvements to streamline workflow Prepare balance sheets and P&L flux on designated general ledger accounts Review monthly account reconciliations and journal entries To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
Minimum of BS degree in accounting with minimum 6 years of experience in Accounting including Accounts Payable and General Ledger (or equivalent combination of education/experience) Proven track record of working within a fast-paced, dynamic, rapid-growth environment Public company and SOX-compliant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience preferred Experience with Great Plains, Concur, ReQLogic and Mineral Tree applications is preferred Solid experience in problem solving, analytical thinking and strategic thinking to grow a company In Return, We Offer You
