Review and analyze loan applications, credit reports, and supporting documentation to determine eligibility for mortgage loans. Conduct thorough risk analysis to assess borrower creditworthiness and financial stability. Utilize financial concepts and quantitative research methods to evaluate cash flow analysis and overall financial health of applicants. Perform financial modeling to support underwriting decisions. Collaborate with loan origination teams to streamline the application process and resolve any discrepancies. Implement fraud prevention and detection measures throughout the underwriting process. Prepare detailed financial reports that outline findings, recommendations, and justifications for loan approvals or denials. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in mortgage servicing and underwriting. Company Description
