The Ovative Group Analyst, Digital Marketing & Measurement offers an early-stage, leadership-oriented opportunity at a fast-growing company. The right candidate is highly analytical, with strong critical thinking skills, and motivated to drive client results. Analysts will be paired with a Digital Marketing & Measurement business area aligned with their skillset and interests, where they will perform heavy data analysis and help execute and manage media programs for our clients. The Analyst Experience
Analysts will be assigned to one primary focus area but will have the opportunity to gain experience across Ovative Group’s practice areas, including Marketing Strategy, Analytics & Activation. Responsibilities include: Primary focus areas will be determined collectively and shared 1-2 weeks before start date; information on available teams/focus areas will be provided and preferences recorded. Analysts will undergo a robust onboarding bootcamp to gain a big-picture view of our business, history, and vision. Analysts will meet with senior leaders for project work and informational interviews. Responsibilities Of a Digital Marketing & Measurement Analyst
Responsibilities may vary based on available projects and practice areas. Subject Matter Expertise:
Actively work toward competence in a specific Ovative subject matter (e.g., media, measurement, strategy). Hands-on digital media planning, execution, and optimization:
Include A/B testing, landing page testing recommendations, on-page & off-page optimization, weekly/monthly reporting, budget and goal pacing, creative builds/testing/optimization, audience creation/optimization, promotion support, heavy data analysis, reporting & insights of digital media performance, and cross-channel campaign planning, strategy, plan documentation, execution and optimization. Structured Problem-solving, Analysis & Communication:
Execute discrete analyses using tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) and translate analyses into clearly communicated insights for clients. Leadership Development:
Manage work independently with initial direction from manager; regularly speak up, ask questions, and express your POV. Client management:
Understand the client’s business/industry and how work connects to broader project and client goals; strive to be the best interaction of the client’s day; support in developing client-facing solutions and deliverables, including PowerPoint pitches and competitive/landscape audits. Skills And Qualifications
We’re looking for motivated candidates who are eager to learn and bring transferable skills to our team. Prior professional experience is not required. Successful candidates will demonstrate the following: Ability to think critically, break down problems, and propose solutions (through academic projects, internships, volunteering, or work experiences). Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to share ideas effectively in group projects, presentations, or customer-facing interactions. Consistently produces accurate, thorough, and organized work. Able to work well with others and manage interactions with peers, instructors, teammates, or external stakeholders in a respectful, professional manner. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks or projects and complete them with limited supervision. Examples of leadership, initiative, or ownership in academic, extracurricular, or work settings. Familiarity with basic tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar software.
