We are seeking a Vice President of Components – North America. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Components Business for Transformers across North America. The role will be based in Raleigh, NC or Alamo, TN. Responsibilities
Identifying growth opportunities, business model innovation, and facilitating cross-business unit initiatives. Evaluating and financial modeling of potential merger, acquisition, divestment, partnership and joint venture opportunities. Monitoring medium to long-term business trends/outlooks, gathering competitive intelligence to contribute to strategic business planning discussions with leadership. Analyzing and managing medium and long-term capital expenditure and project approval decisions. Establish and implement strategies that have mid to long-term (3-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with Regional and Global organization objectives. Acts as the main managerial focal point within the local Factory Operations and site development. Leads Factory Operations Team in the region for the components business as well as the Sales and Marketing Operations for effectiveness. Strategy
Implement the North America and Global Product Group (GPG) strategy in the country, ensuring business development and sustainable growth in the domestic/allocated market. Achieves established targets through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions. Align with internal and external local stakeholders. Performance Targets
Lead, own, and secure year-on-year operational targets, including Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Quality, and P&L. Sales and Customer Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Preferred: Master’s Degree such as an MBA or a Master’s in a relevant field. Work Experience: Industry Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management, sales and marketing, engineering, or a related field within the industry. Experience leading a factory or in an operations capacity. Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams and managing projects with a strategic oversight of a specific product or product group. About Hitachi Energy
