Senior Contract Analyst & Negotiator at Health Care Service Corporation Overview

The Senior Contracting Analyst & Negotiator works with Procurement Contracting Managers to facilitate, negotiate completion, and execute agreements with suppliers and service providers for HCSC. The role builds positive relationships with internal business partners and stakeholders to expeditiously negotiate contracts in HCSC’s best interest. This is a hybrid/flex role requiring in-office visibility three days per week; two days remote. Relocation and sponsorship are not available now or in the future. Responsibilities

Assist in the facilitation, negotiation, and execution of agreements with suppliers and other service providers. Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners. Coordinate with Procurement Contracting Managers and Senior Contracting Managers to achieve timely contract negotiations. Required Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, plus a minimum of 7 years of experience drafting and negotiating contract documents (e.g., business arrangements, professional services, consulting services, outsourcing, legal regulatory contracts, data sharing contracts, software licenses, and master agreements with SOWs or order forms). Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills. Highly organized team player with strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple contract negotiations while meeting project timelines. Proven subject matter expertise and track record of success in contract analysis and negotiations across multiple sourcing events. Leadership skills to mentor junior Contracting Analysts and Negotiators. Preferred Job Qualifications

Law degree (Juris Doctor) or related experience in legal, contract management, or paralegal roles. Experience reviewing and drafting terms and conditions for MSAs, sub-agreements (including SOWs), NDAs, evaluation agreements, and government-regulation-compliant addendums as applicable. Knowledge of purchasing process principles, contract administration, strategic sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing systems. Experience negotiating agreements in a healthcare setting and with regulatory requirements. Familiarity with HIPAA, PII/PHI data designations, and information security terms. Experience using automated contract management and electronic signature systems. Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and other Microsoft applications. Ability to establish strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and lead internal discussions to resolve issues during negotiations. Compensation

Compensation: $100,000.00 - $180,700.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Employment Statement
