The Director of Ambulatory Operations assumes administrative responsibility for the management of assigned ambulatory/outpatient practices to include multiple locations and outreach clinics. The incumbent is primarily accountable for the planning, implementation and operation of the department in order to meet the needs of the organization. The Director will provide leadership and expertise in the management of the department and establish objectives and current standards of ambulatory practice; defines, interprets, and implements the philosophy and objectives for Onvida\'s ambulatory operations. Responsible for clinical excellence, accountable for strategic business planning, program development and administration, fiscal accountability, human resource management, quality management, and effective dyad partnership with physician leaders; facilitates and manages operational change while maintaining optimal patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. The Director ensures compliance with the standards set forth by regulatory agencies (i.e., CMS, AZHHA, CDC, etc.) including all documentation requirements. Continually evaluates core processes to improve clinical operations, reduce cost, reduce cycle time, enhance service, and improve quality and patient safety performance. Maintain outpatient practice licensure and support the broader needs of the organization. Responsibilities

Planning/Vision Competency: provide vision, forward thinking and strategic planning; develop and communicate organized strategies; align plans with hospital goals. Accountability: lead strategic planning for the department; collaborate with leadership and physicians to identify programs and opportunities; develop partnerships to meet community needs. Fiscal Management Competency: develop annual budget and operational plan; manage performance; identify opportunities to grow revenue and manage a volume-adjusted budget. Customer Service Competency: commit to excellent service; communicate effectively; promote a respectful work environment; support patient- and family-centered care; monitor referral patterns and improve referrals. Operational Management / Quality: plan, organize, coordinate, prioritize work; drive performance improvement; ensure resources and staff are available; establish performance standards and monitor quality and safety. Human Resources Management: develop staff through coaching and mentoring; identify competencies and staffing needs; foster open communication and collaboration. Community Competency: leverage hospital and community resources; promote community involvement and partnerships; maintain ongoing education related to the role. Qualifications

Essential: RN license (AZ); Oncology Certification (OCN) or obtain within six (6) months of hire; BLS (AHA); Fleet Safety Clearance Education: Bachelor\'s Degree Experience: 5+ years related; 3+ years supervisory experience About Onvida Health / Location
