Overview
The Sr. Director of Development reports to the Executive Director of Advancement and manages a portfolio of major gift donors ($25,000+) to raise funds for the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences. This professional works closely with OU Foundation colleagues, as well as faculty, staff, and administrative leadership across campus to develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet fundraising goals. Goals and areas of focus for the Sr. Director will be determined by their assigned unit/team. Performance metrics will be determined annually by their supervisor in consultation with the Sr. Director pursuant to the OU Foundation’s annual fundraising goals and the university’s funding priorities. Position requires up to 30% travel. Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of progressive experience in fundraising, sales and/or gift planning-related roles required. CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) preferred. Note:
This is an on-site role in Norman, Oklahoma. Responsibilities

Develop and implement fundraising strategies in collaboration with OU Foundation colleagues, faculty, staff, and administrative leadership to meet fundraising goals. Work with unit/team leadership to establish goals and performance metrics. Coordinate with internal partners to align fundraising priorities with university funding priorities. Travel up to 30% as required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of progressive experience in fundraising, sales, and/or gift planning-related roles. CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) preferred. Location
