Department Overview: McDonald’s growth strategy, Accelerating the Arches, encompasses all aspects of our business as the leading global omni-channel restaurant brand. Duties: Ownership of technology solutions: Take responsibility for the overall technology strategy and implementation for product initiatives. Ensure that technology solutions are aligned with business objectives and are scalable, secure, and efficient. Possess strong technical knowledge in areas such as AWS architecture, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, Debugging, SQL, and APIs. Innovation in technology: Drive technological innovation by exploring and implementing new technologies and methodologies. Work closely with cybersecurity, data analytics, and other technical teams to ensure that technology solutions are integrated seamlessly across platforms. Develop and maintain a technology roadmap that outlines the strategic direction for technology solutions. Quality assurance and compliance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure that technology solutions meet the required standards and specifications. API design and integration: Experience in designing and integrating APIs using RESTful and GraphQL principles. Version control and collaboration tools: Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration. Regular risk assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security risks. Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners to ensure that the company has access to the best tools and services. Set clear expectations with partners regarding project timelines, work, and potential challenges. Explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance product processes. Engage and collaborate with global supply chain partners to develop future roadmaps and enhancements. Apply industry processes to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation. Maintain and manage the backlog for product initiatives: Prioritize tasks and track progress to keep all partners informed. Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operational processes. Ensure that all project activities are clearly defined and that resources are allocated effectively. Identify and address any resource constraints or bottlenecks that may impact project delivery. Work with various departments, including cybersecurity, data analytics, supply chain, and others, to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of efforts. Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk management strategies as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in a supply chain-related environment. Experience in conducting performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and guiding professional development. Hands-on experience with AWS services and the ability to design scalable and secure solutions. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and processes. Technical expertise in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, Debugging, SQL, and APIs. Agile Certification: Highly preferred. High affinity for process mapping and data flow. Experience in exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance product processes. Solid understanding of relevant regulations and practices.
