ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, Academic Support Svcs
This position is responsible for the development of corporate engagement strategies to promote the programs under the supervision of the Director of the UF CISE @ JAX. A critical aspect of this function is the responsibility for developing corporate contacts to raise awareness and motivate interest in the program. This requires personal contact with human resources personnel and/or technical managers, including visits to corporate sites, and the organization and presentation of information sessions at remote locations that attract potential applicants, human resources personnel, and/or technical managers. This position promotes alumni relations and fosters networking opportunities among program participants and with graduates; also, acts as liaison for students/alumni with potential employers, as well as with the Career Resource Center. Outreach and Networking: Develop corporate engagement strategies, develop corporate contacts, and promote alumni relations. Application Processing And Admissions Related Responsibilities: Advise and guide prospective students, process student applications, and evaluate submitted application materials. Program Management: Develop and recommend policies, interpret and implement educational and administrative policies, and monitor revenues and expenditures. Student Services: Plan and implementation of all program events, perform various services for enrolled students, and facilitate student access via swipe card entry system. Required Qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and six years of relevant experience. Preferred: B.S. or M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science. The University of Florida is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
