The Global Commodity Manager will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and deliver savings for the organization. The main category focus is Fasteners and Hardware. Key Responsibilities

Support and implement the 5-year ecosystem supplier strategy. Develop and manage relationships with power generation equipment advanced technology suppliers. Lead supplier evaluations with cross-functional teams. Serve as key liaison between strategic suppliers and Mitsubishi project, engineering, and service teams. Analyze data, such as market research, spend analysis, supplier performance, and stakeholder feedback. Implement cost-out ideas and drive standardization. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and manage ongoing relationships. Identify vendors to bid on highly technical commodities. Review long-range forecasts and usage cycles to create a procurement strategy. Create value through relationship management, supplier excellence, and development projects. Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives. Represent Mitsubishi Power in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers. Monitor supplier production capacity and establish buyer capacity plans. Develop, evaluate, and refine complex commercial and technical bids. Negotiate terms and conditions, contracts, and bid proposals. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of supply chain experience, or 8 years of experience with a specialty in Commodities management. Language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures. Travel up to 25%. Benefits
