We are assisting a fast-growth services company with their search for a Director of Financial Reporting. This position is responsible for managing the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, coordinating external audits, and supporting internal stakeholders with financial insights.
Location and Compensation Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation: $165,000 - $190,000
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements
Manage the external audit process, including coordination with auditors and preparation of audit schedules
Oversee the consolidation of financial results across multiple products
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent application
Support the Controller, CFO and executive leadership with financial analysis and reporting
Monitor changes in accounting regulations and assess their impact on the organization
Assist in the maintenance and further development of our financial systems and tools
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent required
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting, including public accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation
Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
