As the Customs Brokerage Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of the Customs Brokerage Business of TQL Global. We are looking for someone that has the proven success, knowledge and experience in the industry to help establish best practices while progressively growing a team. We will pay to relocate you to Cincinnati, Ohio to train and build rapport with our Customs team. After a minimum of 2 years of training and development at TQL HQ, you will be eligible for paid relocation to one of our TQL Global US hubs. THIS ROLE IS IN CINCINNATI, OH. Forbes America’s Best Large Employers (2022) What you'll be doing: Become the face of the customs team across the organization. Engaging with every level of leadership to grow the Customs’ team customer base Lead a targeted customs team located across the nation to review and resolve compliance issues, continuously enhancing our processes to prevent potential issues Train new Entry Writers on operations, compliance, and systems Respond to internal and external customer inquiries and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfaction Oversee the provision of customs brokerage services to TQL Global’s customers Develop, implement, and continuously enhance all Customs brokerage policies and procedures Assist in mapping company process flows and continuously review to identify efficiency gains Review, file, audit and process US Customs documents Review and monitor all Customs rejections, requests for information, and other inquiries Resolve Customs and import compliance issues Maintain up-to-date customer records and documentation Stay current with developments and changes in regulations and other government requirements What you need: 6+ years’ experience in Customs Brokerage Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, economics, or related field preferred Strong understanding of US Customs and related laws, regulations and requirements Proven results contributing directly to growth of a Customs Brokerage business Track record of leading, training, and coaching others About TQL Global: TQL Global, LLC (“TQL Global”) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TQL, and is a licensed customs broker and ocean freight forwarder, and a TSA-approved IAC.
