Social Media Marketing Specialist, Hybrid in New York. Optum is seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage and execute social media and marketing campaigns in support of Crystal Run Healthcare and Optum Medical Care. This role supports the Optum NY/NJ marketing team, develops regional content, maintains brand voice, and collaborates with creative and social teams to deliver engaging, search-friendly messages while balancing speed and quality. Location options are in Middletown, NY; Chappaqua, NY; or Lake Success, NY with a hybrid schedule (four in-office days per week). Remote work is available as applicable. Responsibilities

Oversee social media plan from strategy through reporting, ensuring posts are executed smoothly, on time, and within brand standards Collaborate with director and cross-functional teams (operations, provider marketing, patient experience, communications, social media, analytics) to plan and execute campaigns Create engaging content plans responsive to business events and aligned with strategic objectives Manage the creative development process with internal/external partners to ensure content is informative, appealing, and on-brand Utilize social media management tools for posting, optimization, social listening, analytics reporting, and community management Prepare monthly performance reports and coordinate with the national team to review performance on national organic channels Qualifications

3+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or related field 2+ years of creating social content across paid, owned, and earned channels (Meta, LinkedIn, X) 2+ years of using social media management platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Sprinklr, Hootsuite) for scheduling and performance monitoring 2+ years of community management experience on social platforms Strong writing skills Highly organized and detail oriented Project management experience with tools such as Asana or Adobe Workfront Preferred Qualifications

Canva and Adobe Suite experience Healthcare industry experience Agency and/or design experience Collaborative problem solver Remote employees must adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Compensation and Benefits

Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (eligibility requirements apply). The hourly pay range is $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all applicable minimum wage laws.
