Overview The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in the overall operation of a store, aiming for maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and managing all aspects of merchandising and inventory control in adherence with Company policies and procedures.
The minimum age requirement for an Assistant Store Manager is 18. The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods. Prior retail and/or management experience is required.
Responsibilities
Support the Store Manager in daily operations to ensure high standards of guest service and store performance.
Develop staff, control expenses and shrinkage, and manage merchandising and inventory control in accordance with Company policies.
