US – Tax - National Tax – Tax Technology and Transformation – SAP Tax Integration - Manager Tax Technology and Transformation offers services to companies in response to the impact of existing and emerging technology, including the growing data burden that many businesses face, driving efficiencies to create a cost-effective tax function and the understanding of how to make data an asset. The objective is to help businesses navigate the digital age of tax transparency alongside tax compliance and audit methods, as well as resolving the most pressing challenges businesses face. Services include: Digital tax transformation SAP tax integration; S/4HANA experience a plus (financials, PaPM, Analytics Cloud, DRC, etc.) Direct and indirect tax systems implementation and configuration Tax applications as a service Tax data and improvement Tax analytics and reporting enhancements Emerging tax technology (RPA, AI, blockchain, cloud, data lake, BI) Tax technology program mobilization Custom tax technology development and deployment Tax technology strategy and road maps Post-transaction tax function operational services Tax operating model transformation (process improvements, risk, controls) The opportunity Finance and tax transformation, along with SAP, offer significant opportunities for our clients to improve the tax function and reflect growth and investment in your career. Your Key Responsibilities As a Manager in our SAP Tax Integration competency, you will deliver high-quality tax technology services to multinational clients. You will: Collaborate with partners, managing directors, senior managers and engagement teams to lead complex ERP tax integration projects across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle Support the sales/pursuit process for new engagements Help clients leverage SAP technology and third-party applications to improve their tax function and automate operations Manage multiple projects simultaneously and mentor the next generation of tax professionals Skills And Attributes For Success - Understanding key tax processes and translating requirements into SAP - Collaboration with cross-functional tax, advisory and assurance teams - Thought leadership input - Delivering quality work aligned with business metrics To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a master’s in Accounting, Tax Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or related field Minimum of five years of related experience Approved technical certification, CPA license or bar membership or progress toward those Strong interest in technology and its use in business processes Excellent communication and business writing skills Problem solving with an entrepreneurial approach Strong organizational and time management skills with client-serving abilities Proven ability to sell and deliver large enterprise programs Broad understanding of tax accounting and major tax processes Willingness to travel and work in a balanced hybrid environment Ideally, you'll also have

Experience implementing third-party tax systems (ONESOURCE, Corptax, Vertex, Avalara, Longview, etc.) Experience defining data and reporting needs for a tax department ERP experience, including SAP or Oracle Experience managing large, multidisciplinary tax-related projects What We Look For Technical professionals with knowledge of international and domestic tax, strong business acumen and strategic vision to develop the team.
