Job Overview: LPL Financial is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to perform hands-on development of the Developer Experience Platform, Reference implementation, and Self-Service automation/Scaffolding and Orchestration engine development for Web, Mobile, API, and AI Agents. Responsibilities:
Participate in Agile Scrum, PI Planning, and work with Scrum Master, RTE, Project Manager to do estimation of key deliverables and milestone management. Hands-on AWS Cloud Native application development (web, Mobile, API, and AI), microservice development, unit testing, automation test case, performance testing, Security, and vulnerability resolution and best practices. Drive Code review, Lunch and Learn sessions, developer community of practice, technical demos, Office hours with Developer community for knowledge share, solving and learning pain points while bringing innovative solutions to the problems. Write documentation of technical requirement/Runbooks/DR Strategy/Release Management/Design document/F&Q documentation. Passion to develop innovative solutions to simplify processes and enhance developer productivity & experiences across the enterprise. What are we looking for? 8+ years of end-to-end Application development experience in C# .Net based cloud-hosted web, mobile, and microservice development. 2+ years of Angular/Typescript 1+ years of experience in Agent development (AWS bedrock, OpenAI API, etc.) or plugin development experience using .NET, Python, Node, ReactJS, AngularJS. 1+ Web development experience using Angular, HTML, CSS, SCASS, etc. 1+ year of hands-on experience in Self Service Application, Infrastructure, and Architecture one-clicks template automation and orchestration Engine development Experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in an Orchestration platform (EKS, OpenShift) 1+ years of hands-on experience doing development and automation of AWS Cloud technologies: AWS IAM, Security Groups, API gateway, ECS Faregate, Lambda, Elastic Cache, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, Elastic Search, Document DB, SQS, Event Bridge, Step Functions, terraform templates, Secret Manager, Parameter Store, Kinesis, CloudWatch, EKS, Kafka, Cognito, Docker, Istio mesh, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Groovy Core Competencies:
Developing complete solutions considering sizing, infrastructure, data protection, disaster recovery, security, application requirements on cloud enterprise systems. Experience adhering to an Agile development environment and iterative sprint cycle. Have a deep understanding of API design, OpenAPI specifications, GitOps, Dark Release/G deployment practices, IAC Develop Unit Test cases and Automation test scripts using Selenium, Black duck, and improve test coverage for existing codebase. Hands-on experience working with Performance testing (JMeter, Postman), Code Quality, and Code Coverage tools/frameworks (e.g., SonarQube, Vera Code), GitHub Actions, AWSCLI2, ColourContrastAnalyser, Docker, Drawio, GitHubDesktop, HomeBrew, IntelliJ, Node.js v18.12.2, Postman, PyCharmCA, Python 3.10.5, Python 3.11.3, Python 3.7, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Xcode, Deveoper_Node 14.21, Eclipse - ARM64, .net 7.0.201, Polaris. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science Hands-on Terraform Template (BluePrint) Development Hands-on Apache Kafka, AWS resources (S3, Lambda, EKS, EC2, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, etc.) Framework/Utility development experience Python experience Expertise in problem-solving, technical leadership, Developer evangelism, Leading developer community of Practices, and strong troubleshooting skills and developer support skills.
