Overview
Software Developer – Intermediate at CORTEK, located in Falls Church, VA. This role supports the SharePoint/Web services, Microsoft 365, and application development team for the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) Headquarters. The developer will configure, customize, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, forms, and workflows to meet the business needs of BUMED stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Develop, configure, customize, and maintain BUMED HQ SharePoint/Web and Microsoft 365 pages, sites, lists, forms, and workflows. Work with project proponents and end-users to develop solutions that address business needs and opportunities. Propose changes to improve the SharePoint/application environment as an effective solution. Assist in creating technical design documents, unit tests, system tests, and implementation plans. Ensure development work complies with Defense Health Agency (DHA) SharePoint environment requirements. Maintain working knowledge of development concepts and best practices for SharePoint development (SharePoint Framework, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery). Ensure all developed source code is available on BUMED government IT systems. Job Requirements And Experience
Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related computing disciplines. At least five (5) years of experience with applications development. Required Certifications
CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SharePoint Application. Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification requirements. Experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 development. Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate is highly desirable. Clearance
