The opportunity

We are currently seeking a proactive SAP Technical Senior to join our dynamic SuccessFactors team. Leveraging SAP technology, we help tackle the challenges organizations confront in the digital era. Our approach goes beyond mere technology implementation, encompassing a complete, business-centered viewpoint that addresses strategy, customer value, user experience, processes, and operational impacts combined.

In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms such as mobile, web, and tablets. You will be responsible for creating software components and services that interact seamlessly with upstream and downstream components, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective coding and programming.

Your Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring the final product meets their needs.

Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.

Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications supporting business objectives.

Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities with strong business acumen.

Deliver quality client services, monitor progress, manage risk, and keep stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes.

Collaborate with, manage, and develop offshore and on-shore resources across SuccessFactors modules.

Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels.

Skills And Attributes For Success

To excel in this role, you should possess a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. You will work with key stakeholders to understand needs, advise on SAP SuccessFactors capabilities, initiate requirement gathering, assess cross-module impacts, conduct tests, and document requirements. You will design functional solutions after analyses and act as a liaison between stakeholders and the technical team. You will complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems. The following attributes will make a significant impact:

Strong understanding of agile delivery and development methodologies.

Proficiency in application development tools and quality assurance practices.

Proven ability to build and nurture strong client relationships, delivering value and creating trust and enthusiasm.

Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas with clarity.

To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor's degree (4-year degree).

Typically, 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Prior consulting experience or deep functional experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors system.

SAP SuccessFactors certification in Employee Central Core.

Experience with at least two full cycle implementations of Employee Central.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and technical writing.

Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.

Capability to provide industry insights and best practices.

Ability to identify and understand cross-functional impacts within SuccessFactors.

Proficiency in analyzing client processes and mapping them to configurations and functionality.

Knowledge of SuccessFactors reporting and the ability to develop reports to support the compensation process.

Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%.

Ideally, you\'ll also have

Prior consulting industry experience.

SuccessFactors Employee Central experience, including:

Proficiency in EC configuration, managing Foundation and MDF Objects, data models (standard and country-specific), Position Management, Employment Structures, and EC-specific workflows, with understanding of effective dating, UI rules, security, and global requirements.

Skills in Business Rules, Workflows, and Security Management, including writing/troubleshooting complex rules, designing multi-step workflows, and implementing Role-Based Permissions for custom MDF objects and field-level security.

Experience in Data Handling, Reporting, and Testing, including data migration, reporting with Ad-Hoc and Canvas tools, and test planning to validate EC functionality.

Leadership in discovery and fit-gap sessions, translating business needs into scalable EC solutions, collaborating across modules and integrations, and leveraging SAP best practices.

Understanding of end-to-end implementation phases, including cutover planning, knowledge transfer, hyper-care, and ongoing optimization, using Admin Alerts and Health Check for continuous improvement.

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with performance-based rewards. Base salary ranges vary by location (US: $102,500 - $187,900; NYC Metro/Washington/California: $122,900 - $213,400). Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension and 401(k), and paid time off.

Hybrid model: most client-serving roles require in-person collaboration about 40-60% of the time.
