What You’ll Do
Provide superior customer service to clients and carriers with the primary objective of retaining existing clients. Field and respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, mail, and email in a professional and courteous manner. View every client contact as an opportunity to review exposures, loss experience, and current coverage; provide proactive solutions and recommend appropriate products. Follow department protocol for taking calls, return calls promptly, and set clear expectations with the client. Document all communication with clients and carriers promptly; keep records current. Look for new sales opportunities through cross-selling and upselling coverage. Develop working knowledge of carrier websites to secure accurate and timely information for clients and strive to resolve inquiries on the first call. Deliver complete and accurate account reviews per procedures. Remarket accounts according to agency guidelines; confirm the current program is the best option and provide other options if warranted. Own customer concerns and feedback until resolution; escalate to management as needed. Comply with internal procedures while meeting service performance and quality standards. Work as a team with coworkers, producers, and department managers; share insurance knowledge with others. Take on additional responsibilities and manage projects as directed. What You’ll Bring
Attained or in pursuit of a broker’s license in the state hired. Excellent organizational, communication, technology, and time management skills. Strong diplomacy skills to resolve client issues and ability to assess coverage needs. College graduate or experience equivalent. Possession and maintenance of a broker’s license in the state hired. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data. Why EPIC
