Represent the company in pre-litigation and litigation matters, including managing outside counsel. Provide strategic legal advice on disputes, regulatory inquiries, and risk exposure. Support community leadership teams with legal guidance and resources. Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, and settlement agreements. Respond to medical records requests, subpoenas, and government inquiries. Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate legal risks. Assist with contract disputes, employment matters, and regulatory compliance. Stay current on relevant federal and state laws. Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school; licensed in Idaho or eligible for in-house counsel registration. 3–7 years of litigation experience, including insurance defense, preferably in healthcare and/or employment law. Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Experience with arbitration, mediation, and managing outside counsel and litigation budgets. Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Seniorities and Employment
