The Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation (HOT) and the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota are seeking a tenure-track medical hematologist/oncologist with training and experience in Malignant Hematology or Blood and Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy. The ideal candidate will have translational research experience, clinical expertise in blood and marrow transplantation, and independently obtained research funding. The division seeks someone interested in clinical research in blood and marrow transplantation, stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapy, who can thrive in the team-based environment of the UMN Medical School. The candidate will be hired at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor and will be on an Academic or Clinician Track. The position is eligible for tenure. This individual will lead and develop innovative research projects and clinical trials in cancer treatment, collaborate with research teams, and participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical care, as well as teaching medical students and postgraduate trainees. Faculty in the HOT Division have the opportunity to work with the Masonic Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, fostering collaborative research focused on cancer causes, prevention, detection, and treatment, aiming to improve patient and survivor quality of life. Qualifications

M.D. and Board Eligible or Certified in Medical Oncology Demonstrated excellence in patient care Strong interest in medical education and teaching skills Ability to attain a medical license in Minnesota Ability to pass credentialing at all applicable sites Applicants of all experience levels, including fellows, are encouraged to apply. The salary begins at $55,000 and is dependent on academic effort, with additional clinical salary through University of Minnesota Physicians.
