Mech Design Engr II role at Honeywell. You will report directly to the Sr Engineering Manager and work out of the Freeport, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule. Job Description: You will impact the mechanical design process by delivering high-quality and reliable products that meet customer needs and expectations. Your insights and recommendations will help drive the company's strategic direction in mechanical design and development. Key Responsibilities

Lead and drive the mechanical design process, from concept to production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications. Design and develop complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies. Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and development. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies. Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. U.S. Persons WE VALUE Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience in product testing and validation. Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,400 - $103,200. Salary is a general guideline and may vary based on the scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations. The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the posting date; this may be shortened or extended based on business needs and candidate availability.
