Overview

Manager - Foundation Fundraising at Inspire The Inspire Brands Foundation currently supports the philanthropic efforts of Inspire Brands and its portfolio of companies. The Manager, Accounting is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting, forecasting and reporting for all the Inspire Brands Foundations. In addition, this person will manage the annual audit and 990 tax return processes ensuring all required approvals and deadlines are met. Responsibilities

Accounting: Oversee and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all Foundation accounting; Prepare and post monthly journal entries into accounting software; Pay bills, print checks and make all deposits; Reconcile bank accounts; Ensure accuracy of data transfers between systems (Salesforce, Accounting and Treasury); Prepare yearly budget; Own and troubleshoot Foundation accounting software including managing all users in the system. Educate and train IBF team on accounting software Forecasting: Develop and maintain detailed financial forecasts, including income statements and cash flow projections; Build short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity and support strategic planning; Collaborate with team members to gather input for revenue and expense projections. Present forecast results to senior management monthly; Monitor performance against forecasts and provide variance analysis with explanations Reporting: Create, update and maintain all reports in accounting software (forecasts, cashflow, income statement and dashboards); Maintain fixed assets reporting; Provide up-to-date reporting of Foundation reserve funds Audit/990 Tax Form: Manage audit process with Foundation’s outside auditor; Prepare and complete all necessary documentation for annual audit; Prepare and complete all necessary documentation for 990 tax return; Ensure filings are submitted to Board of Trustees for approval prior to filing Miscellaneous: Ensure state registration filings are completed on time; Perform other duties assigned by the Executive Director Education and Experience Qualifications

4 Year Degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in accounting required Minimum of 7-10 years of accounting experience (nonprofit preferred) Minimum of 2-3 years people management experience Experience with Multi-entity accounting Expertise with Sage Intacct required Naturally organized and methodical with strong attention to detail Strong analytical skills Able to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities Expert working knowledge in Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of interpersonal skills Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point) Seniority level
