Principal Consultant - Java Microservices . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module; lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across SDLC stages including requirements elicitation, architecture definition, and design. Create high level design artifacts and deliver high quality code for a module. Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Define and drive software architecture and enterprise capabilities (scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, maintainability). Document and communicate designs, estimates, and implementation plans to program stakeholders. Partner with business stakeholders and technology leaders to translate program requirements into technical solutions and system design. Provide leadership guidance to engineers, QA and product stakeholders; work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Write good quality, secure, and highly performant code; demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and effective collaboration and communication. Possess diverse skill areas to accommodate job responsibilities and be a constructive member of the technical staff. Required Qualifications
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Phoenix, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 11 years of Information Technology experience. 8 years of experience in Java full stack, Java Spring Boot and Microservices, Angular/React, jBPM or any other BPM product, RESTful, Kafka and Kubernetes/Docker (with knowledge of Cloud Implementation - Azure, Kubernetes/Docker). Experience in creating the technological vision, driving technology strategy and ensuring the technical design of the platform. Determining overall architectural principles, frameworks and standards. Documenting and communicating designs, estimates, and implementation plans to program stakeholders. Experience partnering with business stakeholders and technology leaders to translate program requirements into technical solutions and system design. Strong experience with engineering leadership on the delivery of highly scalable and secure SaaS solutions. Knowledge of multiple niche/emerging technologies and languages. Drive Innovation in Healthcare domain & SaaS platform. Experience writing high-quality, secure, and performant code; ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective collaboration and communication. Team-oriented and able to work as part of a technical staff. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Cloud Implementation – Azure, Kubernetes/Docker. Experience in developing & deploying Microservices, Data Modeling, Database Design, tuning design parameters, normalization, and solving performance bottlenecks. Experience with Service Oriented Architecture and understanding of OO concepts and design patterns. Experience in Middleware, Open-Source tools & technologies. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs. About Us
