Overview
Senior Business Analyst - Print and Fulfillment. The Senior Business Analyst (Sr. BA) for the Print and Fulfillment department serves as a strategic partner and liaison between business stakeholders, product owners and technology teams. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support the design and delivery of communications, print and fulfillment solutions across the organization. Operating within a SAFe Agile framework, the Sr. BA will support end-to-end initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and member experience through centralized and modernized correspondence and fulfillment processes. You Will
Collaborate with business owners, product owners and managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business needs and user stories related to correspondence and fulfillment activities. Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable features and user stories within the SAFe Agile process, ensuring alignment to program-level objectives. Serve as a subject matter expert on member communications workflows, including print and digital channels, translation, regulatory compliance, and fulfillment processes. Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and cross-functional requirement review sessions to drive consensus and clarify scope and priorities. Partner with developers, quality assurance, and UX teams to validate that delivered functionality meets business expectations and quality standards. Use data analysis, process mapping, and systems knowledge to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous optimization of fulfillment operations. Support PI planning sessions, iteration reviews, and system demos, helping ensure value is delivered each sprint and aligned with larger program goals. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test cases and validating that business requirements are accurately implemented. Maintain documentation, process flows, decision logs, and reporting artifacts to support transparency, change management, and audit readiness. Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, helping translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions. Generate operational and project-based reports, analyze performance trends (e.g., SLAs, vendor performance, reprint rates), and provide insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement. Actively support the achievement of SCAN’s Vision and Goals. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a business analyst or systems analyst role, preferably in healthcare, fulfillment, or communications Experience working in a SAFe Agile or Agile SCRUM environment Associate's Degree or equivalent experience Technical expertise - Advanced analytical skills Problem Solving - Basic problem-solving skills Communication - Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow design Strong Excel/data analysis skills; experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SQL a plus Problem/issue management; ability to build collaborative relationships; analytical thinking Leadership skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong facilitation, critical thinking, and stakeholder engagement abilities What's in it for you?
