About The Team: New Verticals is an exciting team at DoorDash that is building and scaling new ways to delight our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. New Verticals include the DashMart, Convenience, Alcohol, Grocery, and Retail businesses. Our Catalog, Fulfillment and Logistics pod focuses on enabling the operations behind each delivery and we are looking to expand our Logistics function. Overview

The New Verticals Logistics team’s goal is to drive cost savings while improving quality & efficiency for how we enable New Verticals delivery, with a key focus on Dasher experience & initiatives. We are building the world\'s most reliable same-day logistics platform to fulfill our vision of empowering all local businesses. The projects we work on are diverse and have the potential to impact each side of our marketplace - from Dashers, to Consumers, to Merchants. We are hiring Senior Associates that will focus on crafting and executing winning strategies that might impact how we partner and develop our Dashers, and how we win in the most strategic markets through cost and efficiency initiatives while ensuring strong growth for the business. You\'re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will

Build. You\'ll have your fingerprints all over DoorDash\'s next big business. You\'ll do whatever it takes to launch, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to nitty-gritty operational details. Strategize. From first principles, you\'ll develop the optimal strategy for best serving our customers. Experiment. You\'ll transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes. Analyze. You\'ll assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions, and iterate quickly based on data. Collaborate. You\'ll work with a cross-functional team, including marketing, finance, legal, support, design, product, data science, engineering, and operations to build this new line of business for DoorDash. You are a self-starter – You have a bias towards action and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment You work well cross-functionally – You have experience managing multiple different stakeholders and business partners, and are able to exert influence across organizations to achieve business outcomes You are a problem solver – You can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans You are gritty – You roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful You are analytical – You let data win arguments, and you’re comfortable pulling your own data in SQL and modeling in Excel. You are relentless and hungry to learn – You do what it takes to win, no matter what. You have 2-4+ years of experience - preferably in strategy & operations, consulting, investment banking, tech, etc. You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree. Compensation and Benefits

The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $78,200—$115,000 USD, localized by work location. Base salary ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Benefits include a comprehensive package including health coverage, 401(k) with employer matching, paid leave, wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, paid time off and paid sick leave where applicable, disability and life insurance, and more.
