Marketing Analytics Specialist
will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing processes that help to drive automation and increase operational efficiency within the marketing department. This person will help develop and execute marketing analytics programs and processes for 15+ B2C and B2B brands with an emphasis placed on understanding brand needs and advising on how best to interpret KPI’s to achieve desired outcomes. Responsibilities Develop and oversee processes for tracking, analyzing, and managing marketing data for use by the marketing department. Collaborate with the Marketing Data Analyst to further advance the current marketing analytics strategy. Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and provide relevant insights to optimize current and future efforts. Create, design, and develop automated reporting for use by the marketing team and external franchise owners. Maintain and update existing reports on a regular basis. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create new and innovative ways to best utilize data assets. Regularly present findings, reports, and process improvements with the marketing team. Ensure data integrity and security. Collaborate across departments including IT, Franchise Development and Business Intelligence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Management, Business Information Systems, or equivalent education/professional training. 2+ years of experience working in an analytical role preferably in marketing, e-commerce, or franchising. Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to quickly organize and draw insights out of large data sets. Understanding of database structure and design. Familiarity with the connection between two or more systems via API integrations. The ability to meet deadlines and be self-motivated while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Self-starter with the ability to work in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications & Technical Requirements Basic knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) Basic knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau. Exposure to cloud-based CRM’s, preferably HubSpot. Proven understanding of Google Analytics and ability to garner insights from KPI reports. History of developing and overseeing process improvement projects. Comfortable conducting presentations and communicating findings with the marketing team. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make recommendations that increase operational and workplace efficiency as well as improve existing processes and procedures.
