Program Analyst – Program/Project Management, Columbia MD or Coppell TX

Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. is seeking a Program Analyst to support our growing Commercial and Government System Project business. This position is based out of our Columbia, MD headquarters. The Coppell, TX near DFW may be considered for exceptional candidates.
This position will report to the Program Management Office and will provide a broad range of support for the systems projects business. This will include understanding project financials, analyzing project data and metrics, building dashboards to display and communicate project analytics and KPIs along with supporting other technical project application implementations.
Ideal candidates will have project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to support various software applications, financial tracking and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Project Finances status and tracking for System Projects by working with the Finance team to ensure project financial tracking and performance such as (labor, equipment, and travel costs) are accurate and measured for system projects Track and support revenue recognition Develop and maintain data analysis and project tracking via Smartsheet application via dashboards, new capabilities, resources management, data manipulation and tracking Develop and maintain KPI measurements for Projects – including but not limited to: schedule, labor, budget, risk and adherence to processes Develop and maintain both active projects status tracking and after-action reviews of system projects for PM team Develop, manage and maintain various applications including but not limited to: Smartsheet, Master Control, MS Excel with pivot tables, SharePoint with basic workflow management, Visio for process development, etc. Support internal business initiatives for the development of new processes or enhancements to existing processes Kickoff, manage and support small system projects Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in project management, business, computer science, engineering, or sales operations. Excellent prioritization and organization skills—able to work on many varied projects at once while making progress in all. Advanced skills with: MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint and MS Teams. Highly Desired: Experience with Smartsheet, SharePoint, Earned Value Management (EVM), MS Project scheduling, Confluence, and SAP. Desired: PMP or CaPM certified. Simple development or software programming experience a plus. Detail oriented and problem solver. Enthusiastic, motivated, and persistent with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Some travel required To be considered, candidates must have US citizenship or permanent work authorization and the ability to obtain US Gov't security clearance. The total compensation for this position is $65K-$90K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits.
