Sr. Principal Systems Engineer Spacecraft Avionics Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT) (Top Secret required) - R10204406 at Northrop Grumman. Relocation assistance may be available. Clearance Type: Top Secret. Travel: Yes, 10% of the time. This role is based out of Gilbert, AZ or Dulles, VA. Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with system architects/engineers, subsystem design engineers, software engineers, integration & test engineers, contract managers, suppliers, global supply chain, and program managers to support development efforts for the platform. Deliver all product team deliverables on time and within cost, while meeting contractual programmatic and technical requirements and stakeholder expectations, and measure and report Earned Value (EV) performance. Ensure technical quality, performance, cost and schedule for product team content on the program, in alignment with Engineering and Division processes, program policies, and industry best standards. Adhere to the IPT Statement of Work (SOW) and perform rigorous change management in coordination with program leadership. Identify resources, including staffing, required to complete product team deliverables, and communicate the need in a timely manner to enable onboarding of the resources early enough to meet program objectives. Coordinate with Functional Management to staff the IPT. Coordinate and collaborate with Global Supply Chain to manage suppliers and material to achieve product team deliverables. Coordinate and collaborate with Manufacturing & Operations and Integration and Test to support build and I&T of IPT subsystems and products. Conduct thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization. Basic Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret Clearance at the time of application. Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of applicable experience, or a Master’s Degree plus 6 years of applicable experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience. Experience with spacecraft avionics development or production, including one or more of the following subsystems: flight software (FSW), guidance, navigation and control (GNC), altitude control system (ACS), command, data and handling (CD&H), electrical power subsystem (EPS). Risk & Opportunity Management experience and change control experience. 1 year of experience in Project Management roles such as Program Manager, CAM, IPT. Preferred Qualifications

2 years of experience in Project Management roles to include earned value management (EVM). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience and the ability to work seamlessly with a diverse community of engineers. Experience with the full lifecycle of spacecraft avionics development, build, and operations. Active TS/SCI or Active TS clearance with existing program accesses. Communications: ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure department and program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved to meet stakeholder needs. Issue & Problem Resolution: ability to identify and proactively address organizational and program impacts through a systematic approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the organization. Program Integration: ability to identify, orchestrate, coordinate and control the management activities and processes that integrate program interdependencies throughout their life cycle to achieve successful program completion. Supplier & Subcontractor: ability to identify, select, direct and manage subcontract and supply chain elements to support program goals and company strategy. Primary Level Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $256,400.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; actual offers are based on scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential and discretionary bonuses may apply where applicable.
