Program Overview / About The Role
Peraton Labs is seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a background in RF Engineering or Computer Science to support Army C5ISR Center's EW science and technology lab. This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland and will require onsite work, 5 days a week. Responsibilities
Develop system/signal of interest (SOI) models Integrate third-party models Collaborate with intelligence and mission partners to develop/evaluate electronic attack (EA) countermeasures in a hardware-in-the-loop environment Support engineering evaluation of EW system models Qualifications
Required Skills:
5 years experience with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD; significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education Proficiency with software-defined radios (e.g., Ettus, Epiq), GNU Radio, and/or firmware programming Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, VHDL, and C+ Strong MATLAB skills, including Simulink and relevant toolboxes (DSP, signal processing, radar, etc.) Familiar with the LINUX operating system Knowledge of commercial communication protocols U.S. Citizenship Minimum active SECRET Clearance; TS/SCI eligibility required - must be able to obtain immediately post-onboarding Desired Skills:
Active TS/SCI Clearance Experience with X-MIDAS and Common Framework Environment (CFE) Compensation & Benefits
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. Salary is determined by factors including scope and responsibilities, experience, education, location, and contract considerations. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus may apply where eligible. EEO:
