Sourcing Specialist (H/F) - SAFRAN CABIN INC. role at AEROCONTACT. Safran Cabin is an international high-tech group operating in aerospace (propulsion, equipment and interiors), space and defense. The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for sourcing within Safran Cabin and supporting the Supply Chain team across all phases of sourcing, from program inception through maturity. The Sourcing Specialist deploys sourcing strategies defined by Commodity Managers, reviews supplier product on site, prepares and sends RFP/RFQ, negotiates main terms and conditions, and supports supplier selection. The role acts as a liaison between suppliers and internal program teams (sales, management, engineering) while ensuring adherence to Safran Cabin policies and applicable compliance. Responsibilities
Own and drive the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities, in collaboration with Commodity Managers. Review supplier products on site and analyze supplier market economics to identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare and issue Request for Proposal/Request for Quotation (RFP/RFQ); negotiate terms and conditions; assemble information to support supplier selection. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (sales, management, engineering) and manage supplier communications. Utilize Strategic Purchasing tools and processes; ensure compliance with Safran Cabin Inc. policies. Analyze spend, determine what/how/where to buy; support proposals, strategic planning and budgeting processes. Conduct comprehensive cost analyses to inform proposals aligned with program budgets. Prepare and present supplier evaluations for final approval by the Sourcing Council as required by process. Maintain accurate ERP records reflecting supplier changes; review drawings to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Qualifications
Negotiation skills; business-oriented and organized; able to manage multi-functional projects and risk identification. Ability to read/drawings, technical specifications and reports; good understanding of ERP systems; knowledge of contract provisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); fluent English communication. Experience with aircraft OEMs; ability to work independently and cross-functionally; strong communication, time-management and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate teams, define problems, collect data, and develop corrective action plans. Preferred: familiarity with ERP systems and databases. Additional notes: English fluency required; travel and/or relocation may be required; hours may be protracted or irregular. Details
