Job Description : Under the direction of the School Leader or other certificated employee, the Instructional Aide/After School Instructor will assist by performing a variety of instructional support duties to individual or small groups of students within the special education setting or regular classroom, during and after school hours. In addition, the Instructional Aide/After School Instructor will work directly with a group of 60-80 elementary school students, providing homework assistance, academic support and enrichment activities after school on site at KIPP Bayview Elementary. Candidate’s ability to establish authority through leadership, communication, and most importantly patience, is essential to success. Must be able to commit to working throughout the entire school year. This role is paid over a 12 month period, including scheduled school breaks and summer break.
