Director of Enrollment & Outreach

to join our Special Education team. The role focuses on driving enrollment growth, expanding access to exceptional services, and building relationships with families, school leaders, and community partners. Starting salary listed: $50,000-$58,000/year plus enrollment incentive bonus plan. Responsibilities

Represent Atlantis Academy within the community and with prospective families by communicating the mission, vision, and core values. Engage prospective students and families by highlighting the benefits and opportunities offered by Atlantis Academy. Coordinate admissions events (campus tours, open houses, shadow experiences, information sessions, parent-to-parent connections, and personalized family meetings) to attract and enroll new students. Respond promptly to inquiries and cultivate relationships to support families throughout the enrollment journey. Manage the complete admissions process from inquiry through intake to final enrollment with a focus on efficiency and exceptional customer service. Collaborate with school leadership to schedule interviews and tours of the campus for individuals or small groups. Build and maintain partnerships with community stakeholders (schools, healthcare professionals, therapists, pediatricians, parent groups, community organizations, and governmental agencies) to create networking opportunities. Attend and exhibit at conferences and events, including evenings and weekends, to raise awareness and foster relationships. Develop and implement a targeted communication plan to transition prospective families from interest to enrollment. Oversee creation and refinement of admissions materials, events, and strategic marketing initiatives. Ensure a systematic application process with clear, timely, and informative communication to families. Collaborate with leadership to manage student retention and satisfaction. Lead and manage the financial aid process, participate in policy formulation, family communications, and aid decisions. Maintain accurate admissions data, analyze enrollment strategy effectiveness, and report to Regional VP and school leadership. Explain Florida School Choice scholarship opportunities (e.g., McKay, Gardiner, Tax Credit, Hope, Family Empowerment) to families and assist in maximizing scholarships. Educate and motivate faculty and staff to participate in admissions and enrollment processes. Work with leadership to implement a welcoming assimilation process for new students and families. Develop and execute annual marketing and enrollment strategies to attract, enroll, and retain students and meet campus goals. Maintain ongoing outreach with current and former students and families to sustain satisfaction and loyalty. Coordinate with leadership and ChanceLight Marketing to oversee website content, digital outreach, and social media campaigns. Participate in annual budgeting to plan resources for marketing and outreach activities. Collaborate with Regional VP of Operations and site leaders to support campus, regional, and organizational goals, including strategic planning. Review financial reports related to marketing, recruitment, and retention to identify variances and address them proactively. Attend and participate in school-based and regional leadership meetings as required. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in education, special education, school administration, marketing, or related field. Master’s degree in related field preferred. Florida special education instruction credential required or in process of obtaining preferred. Valid Florida driver’s license or ability to obtain one. Minimum 2 years’ experience in school administration, staff supervision, and budget management preferred. Experience/knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with autism and challenging behaviors. Experience with students on IEPs and knowledge of education admissions and enrollment procedures, state funding, grants, and scholarships. Advanced knowledge of Florida School Choice options and funding preferred. Proven ability to develop marketing, public relations, and community engagement campaigns. Strong relationship-building skills with students, parents, teachers, and community partners. Ability to manage multiple projects, present to diverse groups, and work cross-functionally. Excellent oral/written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Strong prioritization, time management, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic office technology; database experience preferred. Perks & Benefits
