Seyfarth Shaw LLP . The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor & Employment Associate with 3-5 years of Wage-Hour experience to join our Seattle office. You’ll be a member of our consistently ranked and nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice group. Learn more about our Labor & Employment department. The Day-To-Day As an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. You Have - 3-5 years of wage-hour litigation and counseling experience. - Other areas of expected experience: single plaintiff litigation, administrative charges, employment advice and counsel, investigations, and experience with deposition handling or involvement. - Ability and drive to take responsibility for routine matters with minimal supervision and increasingly complex matters with supervision. - Experience with civil and appellate rules (Federal and Washington) and employment agency rules and regulations (EEOC, DOL, OSHA, and equivalent Washington agencies). - Experience with complex ESI issues and complex discovery is a plus (but not required). - Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and solid work ethic. - Must be licensed and admitted to practice in Washington. - Please submit your resume, cover letter, law school transcript and writing sample with your application.
