Overview
Full Time Floor Leader – Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall at Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics North America. This role supports the Store Management Team across all areas of the business, including driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. The Floor Leader helps ensure operational excellence, a great customer experience, and a motivated staff. Responsibilities
Driving Sales:
Use StoreForce dashboard results to coach the sales team, adjust shop floor structure to meet/exceed sales goals, own results, grow segment contribution, and celebrate achievements with the team. Customer Experience:
Deliver world‑class service on the shop floor, conduct product demonstrations, listen to consultations, collaborate with the team, and strive to exceed daily sales goals. Building the Brand:
Educate customers on Lush brand values and our positions on Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging; engage in store/community initiatives. Product Knowledge:
Continuously expand product knowledge and make informed recommendations. Team Involvement
Development:
Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on sales techniques and product knowledge; lead by example; seek feedback and opportunities to improve. DEIB:
Foster open communication, listen to diverse perspectives, promote teamwork, and recognize contributions. Operational Excellence
Cash Handling & Store Opening/Closing:
Manage transactions, reconcile cash drawers, prepare deposits, and secure the store; take deposits to the bank as required. Time & Attendance:
Emphasize punctuality, monitor breaks, review daily communications to keep the team informed and prepared. Visuals & Merchandising:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store. Stock & Inventory:
Train the team on inventory best practices; assist with stock tasks; adjust displays based on sales. Policies & Procedures:
Ensure compliance with opening/closing standards, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety. Qualifications
Required: Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales Cash handling and opening/closing procedures Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training Problem-solving in day-to-day customer service operations Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred: Experience with consultation-based customer service Experience analyzing sales metrics Experience in skincare or cosmetics Experience with DEIB or social justice training Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages Compensation & Schedule
