The average starting salary for this position will fall in the range of

$45,000

to

$50,000

Responsibilities

In conjunction with the Donor Database Administrator, process daily gift batches in donor database, Salesforce, a comprehensive, integrated, relational database system. Produce gift receipts in accordance with 48-hour turnaround best practice. Assist the Data Analyst in data analysis, maintaining data integrity and adding new data to the database. Process in-kind gift batches in Salesforce and produce gift receipts in accordance with 48-hour turnaround best practice. Produce necessary reports for Chief Development Officer and Executive Directors of local centers as needed. Support stewardship for all donors including producing personalized thank you letters for President/CEO, Chief Development Officer, Executive Directors and all fundraisers. Serve as key contact for Salesforce, including input new donations, generate timely gift acknowledgement letters, maintain and update individual and organizational donor records, run reports, and reconcile monthly development gift records. Support donor data production and collection for social media and related marketing campaigns. Proficient with daily use of Volgistics platform. Onboard and coordinate new volunteer placement. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Previous experience in a human or social services organization, with experience with nonprofit fund development preferred. Experience with donor management system, preferred. Strong organization skills, with an ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines. Keen attention to detail and accuracy. Detail-oriented with strong written and oral communication and follow-up skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across the External Affairs Department. Experience and ease with Microsoft Office, Windows systems and software. A self-starter who is able to problem–solve and identify potential solutions is preferred. Passion and commitment to the mission of MFS. Ability to manage complex projects with excellent organizational skills and technical expertise. Ability to balance multiple requests and priorities. Demonstrated skills with superior verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to adapt communication to the appropriate audience. Strong writing skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to take accountability for results, take initiative, as well as be adaptable, resilient, highly organized, and detail oriented. Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and database management programs (Salesforce preferred). Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Ability to work some evenings and/or weekends as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in the related field or equivalent experience required. 2+ years' experience in non-profit development department with increasing levels of responsibility required. Additional Requirements

Satisfactorily pass all relevant screenings and criminal background checks. Transportation/Travel Requirements

Driving for work preferred with a personally owned vehicle. Travel between sites required. Physical Demands

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
