Summary

This is the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) J6 Enterprise Transport Management (ETM) 2.0 program. The objective of ETM 2.0 is to provide the delivery of high availability services within the Local Area Network (LAN)/Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)/Wide Area Network Connectivity, Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), and technology for Long Haul and Point-to-Point Communications. There are three classification levels of Transport Networks from Unclassified through Yellow or higher classification. The J6 provides services to customers at locations internal and external extending 150 miles from the NCR, in addition to alternate sites as designated by the Government. On the DISA J6 ETM 2.0, serve as the Infrastructure Operations Manager

Job Duties And Responsibilities

Oversees Tech Control facility operations. Knowledge of switches, encryption, network consoles. Supervises Tech Control staff and operations. Familiar with Tier 2 Helpdesk and DISA Defense Communications 310-175-9: System Operating-Maintenance Electrical Performance Standards

QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications

Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)

Education, Background, and Years of Experience

Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or 5 years equivalent experience

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills
