Program Manager - Agile Defense

POSITION SUMMARY
Modern Government Solutions (MGS) is seeking a Program Manager to lead Agile software and systems development efforts in support of mission-critical programs for federal agencies. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and oversee the execution of classified software and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring delivery milestones are achieved while maintaining a strong focus on security, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and drive collaboration across stakeholders to support successful program outcomes in complex, high-security environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to): Lead SAFe Agile ceremonies and manage sprint planning, roadmaps, and delivery milestones. Coordinate cross-functional teams across cybersecurity, cloud, DevOps, and engineering disciplines. Oversee quality assurance, risk management, and compliance efforts, including ATO and IV&V processes. Liaise with government stakeholders and contracting officers to ensure program alignment and successful execution. Track technical milestones and evolving customer requirements to ensure mission and contract objectives are met.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must possess an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
DoD polygraph preferred.
Proven experience managing federal contracts and delivering secure software solutions. Background in leading cleared programs involving classified software or infrastructure environments. PMP, SAFe, or Scrum Master certifications are strongly preferred.
