What You Will Do

Support systems engineering through all phases of system product development including program pursuit and capture, requirements capture and analysis, system architecture design, requirements allocation and traceability, system verification, system validation and life-cycle product support. Complete work for avionics solutions across the A/MH-6R, MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics for the US Army Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs. Navigate bids and pursuits, adhering to Collins Processes for the SOA programs. Lead customer discussions alongside the program chiefs and architects. Potential opportunity to assist in flight test events at customer facilities. Up to 10% domestic travel as needed. What You Will Learn

Deepen understanding of aircraft systems engineering, gaining insights into advanced integration and development processes. Build leadership skills and influence major project outcomes. Expand professional network, working alongside avionics experts and customers. Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience. Systems Engineering experience Flight Test experience Ability to obtain a secret DoD clearance after day 1 Qualifications We Prefer

Collins Aerospace’s Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) experience Avionics experience Experience with data busses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429) Experience with TNT, DOORS, PREP, JIRA and/or Microsoft Office Suite Organizational skills including documentation Research test requirements and prepare test plans and procedures What We Offer
