Overview
Staff Accountant role at Collectors. This position supports the Accounting department with month-end close processes in accordance with company policies and US GAAP. The role is based at our Santa Ana, CA headquarters with a hybrid schedule (onsite 3+ days per week). What You'll Do
Perform month-end financial close responsibilities, including generating standard monthly journal entries, accruals, researching variances, and supporting other close activities. Perform general bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records for all transactions. Manage daily banking duties, monthly general ledger tasks, and account reconciliations. Meet month-end close and reporting deadlines. Verify and process accounts payable invoices and ensure correct account allocations. Interface with the FP&A department and external auditors as needed. Perform ad hoc analysis and other duties as assigned. Who You Are
BA or BS Degree in Accounting/Finance. 1-3 years of accounting experience. Understanding of GAAP concepts and revenue recognition. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask; organized, problem-solver, flexible, and able to prioritize. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Navision, Blackline, and NetSuite is preferred; Google Suite experience is also preferred. Compensation
Hourly range: $29.75–$40.25. Actual compensation will be based on location, job level, prior experience, and skill set. Why Join Us
