Overview
Lead with Purpose as an Area Director of Operations – Western Region. Functional Pathways is seeking an experienced, dynamic Area Director of Operations (ADO) to oversee and elevate multiple rehabilitation facilities across the Western region. This salaried leadership role offers quarterly performance-based incentives and the chance to make a meaningful, hands-on impact. Responsibilities
Conduct regular on-site visits to support and engage local teams Build strong relationships with facility administrators and team leaders Lead structured meetings and strategic initiatives Identify and resolve operational challenges Ensure ongoing accessibility and support for staff Oversee documentation, performance evaluations, and disciplinary processes Lead quality assurance efforts and implement forward-thinking rehabilitation programs This role requires regular travel and a commitment to empowering teams, enhancing outcomes, and sustaining a culture of excellence. Responsibilities/Requirements
Must have a bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Must meet all certification and licensure requirements as established by the state and national board associations. Active state license. Must possess a current certification from NBCOT if required by state – OT/COTAs only. Must possess a current certification from ASHA (CCC) Certification – SLPs only. Clinical Experience
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. Must have multi-site management experience (1-3 yrs) Seniority level
