Cost Accountant, Finance Decision Support, FT, 08A-4:30P at Baptist Health. Align general ledger costs with operational functions; develop cost allocations of general ledger expenses to revenue departments and charge codes; relate costs to patient records in the clinical cost accounting system; provide data for strategic and financial planning, decision support, and facility administration. Qualifications
Degrees: Bachelors. Additional Qualifications Experience in healthcare environment preferred. Experience in decision support or cost accounting a plus. Working knowledge of financial systems and general accounting principles. Understanding of hospital coding and billing. Experience with hospital patient accounts, or clinical data reporting and analysis. Knowledge of Strata program a plus. Advanced spreadsheet and database skills required. Innovative thinker with initiative and the ability to work independently. Strong written and verbal skills. Excellent interpersonal, organization and time management skills. Must have schedule flexibility to accommodate workload and deadlines. Minimum Required Experience:
