Manager Finance Clinical Academic & Research, Finance BHMG, FT, 09A-5:30P Reporting directly to the Director, Finance Clinical, Academic & Research, the Manager, Finance Clinical, Academic & Research, will lead a team of finance professionals with the primary responsibility to provide full financial analytics to the AVP and other members of the leadership team related to financial statements, product and service lines, business units, capital purchase prioritization, return on investments and lease/buy decisions. Supports the AVP in her/his role as a business consultant to management on financial issues related to the entity as a whole and/or individual departments, product and service lines, physician integration and business development strategies, and short- and long-term financial planning. Responsibilities include technical support and analysis of the annual operating budget, including but not limited to volume and staffing projections, challenging departments' projections and related revenue and expense estimates. Estimated salary range for this position is $92,480.02 - $120,224.03 / year depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of finance professionals with the primary responsibility to provide full financial analytics to the AVP and other members of the leadership team related to financial statements, product and service lines, business units, capital purchase prioritization, return on investments and lease/buy decisions.

Support the AVP in her/his role as a business consultant to management on financial issues related to the entity as a whole and/or individual departments, product and service lines, physician integration and business development strategies, and short- and long-term financial planning.

Technical support and analysis of the annual operating budget, including but not limited to volume and staffing projections, challenging departments’ projections and related revenue and expense estimates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related business discipline.

Master's degree preferred.

Good analytical, communication and organizational skills.

Strong budget and analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer/hospital business needs and translate them into operational requirements.

Comfortable in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressure.
